Guided walk of the old town
Three hours on foot with a guide who grew up here: the monuments, and then the streets behind them.
350 000 UZS for up to four people
Most visitors see four monuments and leave. This walk covers them properly — Registan, Bibi-Khanym, Shah-i-Zinda — and then the parts that make the city make sense: the mahalla streets, the paper workshop, the bread ovens near the bazaar.
Three hours, at your pace, in English, Russian, Uzbek or French. Best started at eight in the morning between May and September, when the light is long and the squares are still empty.
